It’s the oldest golf course in Sullivan County, built in 1935 when it was known as the Tennanah Lake Golf & Tennis Club. Everything old is new again: It was purchased in 2023 by owners who areincreasing the amount of native roughs and tall fescues to make the course play up to its full potential.
The re-branding of the golf course and surrounding property includes a name change. The switch from Tennanah Lake to Roscoe Mountain Club is meant to keep the property separated from the lake.
