Ledges Hotel is named among America’s most romantic historic stays for 2025 by Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation for recognizing historic hotels.
Located along Wallenpaupack Creek, amid the breathtaking scenery of the Pocono Mountains, Ledges Hotel in Hawley offers guests tranquility and relaxation. The hotel’s rooms feature handcrafted designs, artisan touches, and unique furnishings built from the wood of the original Bellemonte Silk Mill trusses.
The most romantic spot at the historic hotel is on the tiered decks overlooking Paupack High Falls. There is also a Stargazer Deck, which is a secluded location that overlooks the waterfall and gorge. Another outdoor space, called “the ruins,” provides an intimate setting and a secret garden atmosphere for guests, with its Bluestone walls, plants, and patio seating.
