Arlo’s Country Store & Tavern

Arlo’s Country Store & Tavern is a little country store and restaurant in the middle of nowhere. Nestled in the countryside of Union Dale, is a gem called “Arlo’s.” As the name implies, it’s an homage to Arlo Guthrie; much of the decor is dedicated to him since the owner is a fan. The owner is an amicable, low-key guy who always says hello and talks to his customers.

They offer gas, an ATM, groceries, a deli, and ice cream. You’ll find a large selection of local products including local wine, honey, and Eccles grass-fed beef. If you need it, they have it.

Arlo’a Country Store & Tavern is an eatery, too. It has good bar food, a good atmosphere, and some decent live music. Outside seating in the shade comes complete with horseshoes and a few other bar games.
