Cottage Cloud Treehouse

Cottage Cloud Treehouse takes the glamping experience to a whole new level. Unwind and decompress. You’re nestled in a private forest, along wide creek frontage. It hosts up to two, along with Fido. Get the idea?

It’s an Airbnb ‘Guest Favorite’ and it’s rated in ‘The Top 5% of Homes’, so pretty good.

Your multilevel treehouse experience includes a screened-in area outside of heated and air-conditioned sleeping quarters, complete with a high-end indoor composting toilet.

It’s a secluded treehouse retreat on a dirt road, but it’s only minutes from area conveniences. Two guests only. There is only one queen bed and no other sleeping accommodations.

There is no kitchen per se in the treehouse, but you do have an outdoor kitchen. Appointments include a propane grill with a side burner, grill accessories and a frypan, plates, cups, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. There are also many suggestions for restaurants if you would rather just explore the local fare.

There is a hot/ cold water dispenser with a built-in Keurig brewer in the treehouse.

This outdoor glamping experience includes a gravity-fed shower and a foot pump sink. There is no running water. Hot water is not available at this time.

You will be surrounded by outdoor activities! You’re anywhere between walking distance and 30 minutes drive from swimming, hiking, mountain biking, waterfalls, golf, skiing, antiquing, and more.

Fishing is year-round on Lake Wallenpaupack and on numerous nearby lakes, rivers, and streams including the Lackawaxen with its excellent fly fishing opportunities. Our treehouse retreat sits on the East Branch of Wallenpaupack creek. This is one of two registered trout streams in the state of Pennsylvania. If fishing is not your gig, there is great antiquing in and around the area.
