F.M. Kirby Center for Performing Arts, also known as the Paramount Theater, and now known as the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts, is a historic movie theater located at Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1937 and as an Art Deco-Moderne style theater building.

In August 18, 1938, the Comerford Movie Theater opened its doors to the public, showing the movie, Alexander’s Ragtime Band, starring, Tyrone Power, Don Ameche, and Alice Faye. That was the beginning of rich and colorful history for the building that is now called the F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts.
