The Muskoday Lake House

The Muskoday Lake House hosts up to 7 guests in 3 bedrooms with 4 beds and 2 baths. It’s in tiny Roscoe, aka Trout Town USA, the “ultimate fishing town.” It’s located 7 miles from Livingston Manor with a wealth of restaurants and shops.

Perched atop the northeast end of pristine Lake Muskoday, this newly renovated and light-filled lakefront home is a perfect getaway for families or groups of friends looking to relax and recharge in the mountain fresh Catskill air. The Muskoday Lake House is approximately 2 hours outside of Manhattan, featuring an open-concept floor plan with panoramic lake views as seen from the kitchen, dining, and living areas on the main floor.

The house is outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable and unforgettable stay, including a fully equipped and updated kitchen with high-end appliances, a SONOS sound system, a pool table, fireplaces, multiple coffee/espresso makers, a record player, high-end bath products/linens/towels, board games, books, and an internet/Netflix/ Amazon Prime enabled TV.

Guests have access to the entire home, an outdoor gas grill and dining area, a fire pit, a private boat dock, front and back yards, and two large decks with balconies. There is high-speed mesh wireless internet which is ideal for working remotely… with a view!

There is air conditioning only in the upstairs bedrooms A/C is almost never needed, anyway; the Lake Muskoday House has an elevation of 2,000 feet. Exercise equipment includes free weights and a yoga mat.

A Pack ‘n Play travel crib and a high chair are here, along with baby safety gates, children’s dinnerware, book and toys, and a baby bath. Let them know if small children are staying, as they have some additional accommodations for them!

Frozen Lake Muskoday is great for sledding, ice hockey, ice skating, ice fishing, and all sorts of fun. The summertime lake is the place to swim and boat.
