The 2200 square foot light-flooded sanctuary accommodates a chef’s kitchen, dining, loft, and super-cozy lounge facing the fire orb. It is heaven.
As seen in Architectural Digest, NY Times, NY Mag, and Curbed, it was designed by NYC architect Matthew Bremer of Architecture in Formation. The structure dates to 1823, and was deftly converted to into a gracious, timeless, and witty retreat,
He transformed this 19th-century church into a private home complete with five bedrooms, a chef’s kitchen, and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Bremer mixes antique touches, like a clawfoot tub, with futuristic ones: smack dab in the middle of the living room hangs a fire orb. (It’s like a fireplace, but suspended and circular.) In a playful nod to the building’s heritage, an organ, sits in the corner.
Your 120″ HDTV has Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, HBO Max, Netflix, premium cable, and standard cable.
You and your dog will have access to a fully fenced yard enclosed by a hand-laid dry-stack stone wall, including a patio area. A fire pit with Adirondack chairs and dining table across the street, facing a lovely pond is also on the property.
