While remote, it’s just 15 minutes to Callicoon which offers some of the best dining in the area. There you will also find a food market, a historic movie theatre, a wine shop, and the farmers market on Sunday.

“Matthew’s place is the perfect get away from the city. Remote, but close enough to all the essentials (grocery, food, restaurants). His place is impeccably designed – almost looks like a set design for a cabin in the woods on a lake. The whole place is the perfect amount of space for 2 or 3 couples (we had 2 couples and 2 kids). The fishing off the dock was really fun, but mostly just relaxing, listening to his records and hanging out watching the sunset. Yes, there are a few quirks, but that just adds to the charm.”
