Let the holidays at Skytop Lodge bring you back in time with a visit to the historic 1920s
Skytop is perfect for an elegant and traditional vacation to celebrate the magic of the season. On the grounds, you’ll find 5500 acres of woodlands, waterfalls, and lakes. Inside, you’ll step into a holiday wonderland of garland-bedecked halls and great rooms, fireplaces, decorated trees, peppermint candy wreaths, and poinsettias.
On the outside of the lodge, you’ll find 2,000 yards of ribbon and 700 yards of garland, 24,000 lights, 7,000 ornaments, and more than 30 trees–some more than 12 feet tall. Inside look for oversized lanterns, grapevine, oranges, apples, pears, and magnolia.
The Skytop Lodge Christmas week includes hayrides, marshmallow roasts around the campfire, a visit from Santa, skate nights, fireside story time, holiday arts & crafts, and culinary demonstrations. There are lots of activities, including Skytop’s hiking trails, fishing, boating, swimming, ice skating, archery, and more. Cozy up to the evening campfire for s’mores.
Have a cocktail by the fire in the beautiful Library Lounge while the kids entertain themselves in the arcade. There is a storytime by the fireplace in the main lobby, a tree lighting ceremony, a horse-drawn carriage ride, and breakfast with Saint Nick.
