The Poetry of Place in Milford takes place in Forest Hall Gallery on Saturday, April 12th at 4 pm. It’s a reading by Milford Poet Laureate, Chuck O’Neil, to commemorate National Poetry Month and to celebrate Milford — its citizens, its rich history and architecture, its art — and to mark the opening of a special temporary exhibition by well-known local artist, Joe Splendora, the first gallery presentation of his work in more than a decade.
Introductory remarks by local artist, Marie Liu, current director of the ARTery Gallery in Milford.
This free event is sponsored by the Historic Preservation Trust of Pike County and Turano Insurance. All proceeds from the sale of O’Neil’s books will be donated to the Greater Pike Community Foundation. Cash bar service by the one and only Bob Grimm, with a portion of the bar proceeds also donated to the Greater Pike Community Foundation.
