The Barn on Hubbard

The Barn on Hubbard, a wedding and event venue, is a beautifully restored 19th-century dairy barn located in Callicoon, New York, and nestled within the hillsides of the Beechwoods in the picturesque countryside of green grass, lush hills, orchards, and farmland in the western Catskill Mountains.

There are three outdoor patios, lantern-lit pathways, and an indoor annex space for your ceremony or cocktail hour. They’ve also got a collection of vintage props.

Additional services include planning, bridal, bachelor, and Jack ‘n Jill parties, wedding favors, flowers, a horse and wagon, and games and activities.

You can choose all your own vendors, and they will provide a list of recommended vendors in the area.

There’s a catering prep kitchen with 2 bay sink, storage shelving, and refrigerator. There’s room for additional catering equipment such as a portable oven/burner range and warming/proofing cabinets.

“The Barn on Hubbard was absolutely perfect in every way. We were married there in October 2018 and could not have asked for a better experience. The Barn’s scenery in the Fall, set on a back road on a sprawling hill is to die for and made for wonderful photo opportunities. The Barn has beautiful natural lighting, a very cool bar built into an old silo, a great outdoor patio, and a large lawn space perfect for games and activities. The best part about the Barn on Hubbard was that we were free to bring in all of our own vendors and decorate however we wanted, which helped us tremendously with cost savings. This wasn’t your typical cookie-cutter venue where it is overpriced, one-stop shopping. We are from the city, so we thought it would be challenging to plan a wedding about 2 hours away, but Sara went above and beyond the call of duty. She provided excellent recommendations, was readily available to answer all questions, accommodated our rental company with drop-off the day before, allowed us to decorate the day before, and helped to prepare a number of other things leading up to the wedding – not to mention everything she did the day of the event, from assisting with parking to making sure everything was running smoothly. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding or any event, I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Barn, the people who run it, and the time we had planning/celebrating our wedding!
