Aquatopia Indoor Water Park

Aquatopia Indoor Water Park is located near the base of Camelback Mountain ski resort. This is one of the best indoor water parks in Pennsylvania to visit after a day on the slopes — it has 125,000 square feet of water rides in Camelback’s park. 7 pools and 13 heart-racing water slides include a swim-up wet bar and a lazy river. From tubes to body slides, mat slides, bowl slides, and aqua launch capsule slides, they’ve got ’em all.

Aquatopia has 13 waterlogged attractions designed for different age groups (indicated by rider height). Teens can learn to surf on the Bombora Flowrider wave simulator or get an adrenaline rush on the Storm Chaser, an uphill water coaster. Younger kids can splash and slide safely in a shallow, penguin-themed play area, or explore Kartrite’s Quest, a multi-level playground with 84 interactive water features. The Venus Slydetrap is made for the whole family with tubes that accommodate up to six people at once.

Aquatopia was voted the “Best Indoor Waterpark in the Country” by USA Today in 2019 and AGAIN in 2021!

There’s a wave pool, surf simulator, adventure river, multilevel interactive play structures, water activities, and kiddie slides for the younger thrill-seekers in the family. For the adults, there’s a swim-up bar to add to the experience.

Just opened in 2022, the new Mountain Mayhem is a fully immersive 54″ fully enclosed aqua tube. This 403-foot ride has 4 unique options that light up all 5 senses.

Not staying at the lodge? You can purchase tickets for Aquatopia online. You need to reserve at least 24 hours in advance. We recommend you call well in advance when planning your vacation – Aquatopia will accept reservations up to 2 months in advance of your trip. If you go this route, make sure you call closer to the actual date of your trip to confirm that they still have your reservation. Based on a limited number of tickets daily. Tickets are non-refundable and dates cannot be changed.

Poolside amenities include Flyboys swim-up bar. Colonial Commons snack bar offers hot dogs, chicken tenders, nachos, and the like. Aquatopia Cabanas give you a landing spot for the day. The cabanas sell-out quickly and reservations are necessary.

You are also able to use all of the amenities at Camelback Resort on a pay-as-you-go basis. There’s an escape room, an arcade with 100 state-of-the-art games, laser tag, go-karts, and much more.
