This house is perfect for a family get-away. Unlike many houses in the area, there is a large flat yard where your children can play and the adults can relax or play yard games. The perimeter of the yard is surrounded by trees, so it is very private. It’s at the end of a dead end so there is next to no traffic. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles, boats, and even a camper.
It is only a three minute drive to get to Lake Wallenpaupack. This private section of the lake has docks, picnic tables, and Adirondack chairs. It’s an excellent spot to relax and enjoy the lake. This is the perfect space for your great escape!
It’s less than 10 minutes to Hawley where you can find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and breweries. This quaint town has everything you need.
There is as much to do here in the winter as there is in the summer. There are nearby ski mountains, including Big Bear, Camelback, and Elk. You can also snow shoe, ice fish, and cross country ski.
“We had a great weekend! The house is even better than described. We loved all the outside space—fire pit, dining table, deck. The inside was spacious and cozy. The gas fireplace was perfect for a rainy morning. We had morning coffee out in the sunroom. The kitchen was huge and we all were able to sit around the dining table to play games. Chris was friendly and responsive. He left clear instructions for the stay. We would definitely stay again. We would highly recommend this home to others.”
