There are beautiful views of Beltsville Lake from the multiple levels and decks. You can walk to the lake and spend an afternoon by the water which is very shallow so it’s perfect for young kids to enjoy.

It’s close to gas station, a general store, and super market. You’re all set!

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Amanda’s place. It is a beautiful home, nestled on the side of a hill overlooking the Beltzville Lake. It abuts a state park, and there are lots of beautiful trails within a short walk or drive. Be aware that some of the trails are challenging and not appropriate for small children or older adults, and they are not clearly marked as for difficulty. So if you are traveling in a group of different abilities, start in the park parking lots so you can easily turn back when needed. The lake itself is gorgeous. We were here in fall, but still enjoyed the three state recreation and trail areas that surround it.

The house itself is BIG, well appointed, and cozy. There are the right number of bathrooms and bedrooms for a group of up to 12. There are two areas for watching TV, a foosball table, and lots of board games. The open plan on the top floor with the kitchen, dining, and living areas made it easy to cook and play games together.”
