This Lake Wallenpaupack A-Frame was renovated in 2020 in the style of European bonhomie with the goal of creating the ideal space for relaxation and recharging.

There is room for 6 guests in 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and 2 baths.

The home sits on 800 running feet of a private river on 2 acres across from a 3,000-acre preserve. It has all the comforts on the inside; radiant floor heating, a reading nook, a large open first floor, and more.

There’s a brand-new gourmet kitchen with GE Cafe Appliances, a large butcher block island, a cappuccino machine, and a farm sink.

Upstairs features two large bedrooms. There’s a master suite in the back of the 2nd floor with an egg-shaped bathtub in a full bathroom, and a queen-sized bed that has a private deck with views of the river.

The river has a lovely swimming hole in the summer months and the rapids can be fun to ride through on an innertube. The winter months have their own allure. There are fires inside or in the fire pit as you watch the sunset over the river.

“This is an ideal spot for a weekend away with friends. The house is beautiful inside and out and is incredibly well thought out. We enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and loved hanging out by the fire. We hope to come back and enjoy another cozy weekend!”
