Black Bear Suite Jim Thorpe

Black Bear Suite in Jim Thorpe is actually a 3-bedroom house that hosts up to 7 guests with 4 beds and 2 baths. It’s located in the Bear Creek Lake community.

The first floor has an entrance into the mudroom/laundry area. Then you walk into the kitchen and dining area. This is an open floor plan and you can see the living room from the kitchen. The bathroom on the first floor has a shower. The bedroom on the first floor is a double bed. The second floor is two rooms with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom between them. One room has a pyramid bunk bed and the second room has a queen bed. Each room has its own dresser and closet.

Bear Creek Lake has a 160-acre lake. It’s fully stocked for fishing and is perfect for boating, sailing, and swimming from its two private beaches. The lake is 1 mile from the home with membership access.

They have a heated Olympic swimming pool, a wading pool, tennis courts, a bocce court, a regulation softball field, a basketball court, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Fishing is allowed in the lake with a proper PA license. Get it fast!

There’s a Level 2 electric car charging outlet for guests to use. Bring your own adapter to connect to the outlet.

“Great location, close to Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, and hiking. No traffic, wooded, quiet. We saw deer on the property and throughout the neighborhood daily. Hattie responded quickly to all correspondence before, during, and after our stay. If I visit the area again, I would stay here.”
