Camp IHC

Camp IHC is a co-ed seven-week sleepaway camp on the Delaware River at the New York border. “The best sleep-away summer camp and retreat destination on the planet – since 1940. Welcome home.” (IHC is short for the camp’s previous name, which was Indian Head Camp.) IHC has given young people the summer of a lifetime since 1940.

Your kids will experience a totally unplugged experience, free from cell phones and the internet. The camp offers a special “Dream Week” for littler campers and a special Family Camp weekend where moms and dads can join in the fun.

The camp experience is broken down into groups that offer age-specific programs. Lake Camp for grades 2-7, The Hill for grades 8-9, Tribe West for Grade 10, and the Counselor-in-Training Program for Grade 11. An annual four-day Olympics wraps up the summer.

There is an emphasis on filmmaking and songwriting at Studio IHC. They offer aquatic sports and the IHCTA Tennis Academy. Kids in the 10th grade Tribe West program will spend part of their 7-week stay in the American West.

At IHCTA Tennis Academy, coaches their way of coaching to suit every individual, from beginners to more advanced players. Regardless of age, experience, or goals, there is a program suitable for every kid. The all-inclusive overnight tennis camps give kids the opportunity to live and train like a pro for a week.
