The house is situated in a small wooded community 10 minutes from Promised Land State Park with public access to hiking trails, docks, a beach, fishing, canoe/kayak rentals, and waterfalls. It’s a 25 min drive from Lake Wallenpaupack, and close to numerous quaint little towns, state forests, antique stores, and local markets.
Inside you will find a wood-burning fireplace, Wi-Fi, record player with a record collection, board games, a fully stocked kitchen, linens and towels, comfortable beds, and modern furniture.
The Little A is well-suited for a couple, a small family, or up to 4 friends. Both the master bedroom and upstairs loft room have queen-size beds with dressers and closets to store your things.
“This house was perfect for our little getaway. Charming and warm, yet modern and aesthetically interesting, Cailtin’s A-frame cottage is what a mountain vacation is all about. The smell of cedar you’re greeted with as soon as you open the front door sets the relaxing tone for your stay. We had a wonderful autumn walk in the woods down to the creek that runs not far beyond the backyard. Rustic hikes, mountain adventures, and upscale dining are all within a 15 minutes drive. We’re already planning our trip back!”
