The Carriage House is a laid-back resort located close to Camelbeach Mountain Waterpark and Kalahari Water Park, just 2 miles from I-380. Clean but dated. Nice staff.
Choose a Studio, Mini, Royal, or Maxi Suite. Suites come with flat-screen TVs, living rooms, and kitchenettes. Some have pull-out sofas. Upgraded suites provide additional bedrooms, balconies, and whirlpool tubs.
The Carriage House amenities include a bar/restaurant, an indoor pool, a gym, and hot tubs, as well as a playground, saunas, BBQs and a game room. There’s also a coin-operated laundry, plus a sundeck and a picnic area. Table tennis, volleyball, basketball, and shuffleboard are available.
Kalahari Resort, where you can get a day pass to their indoor or outdoor water park, is a mile away.
The Carriage House has been in business since 1979. They haven’t updated the place terribly well, and many of the rooms have been sold as timeshare units.
“Place isn’t that updated but the rooms are pretty big. The rooms could be a little cleaner. Workers are friendly and helpful.”
