The 1925 Cottage is an original, restored 1925 Arts & Crafts Cottage in beautiful Paupack, Pennsylvania, just a short walk to Lake Wallenpaupack.
Speaking of which: this Lake Wallenpaupack home was here before there was even a Lake Wallenpaupack. The 1925 Cottage is one of the original five homes built by the Gumble brothers, founders of Gumble Brothers Lumber, and builders of many classic and sought-after homes in the area.
Rent the entire cottage for up to 10 guests. 4 bedrooms with an extra sleeper bed in the living room, and 2.5 baths.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes pots and pans, oil, dishes, and silverware. Likewise, all bed linens and towels are supplied.
Guests also have access in-season to a canoe that is moored at beautiful Upper Lake in Promised Land State Park (about 15 minute drive away). Upper Lake is stocked with brook, brown and rainbow trout. A trout stamp is required to fish in these waters. Directions to the canoe, life vests and paddles are provided.
