Loch Highlands Cottages

Loch Highlands Cottages has been hosting boaters and outdoor lovers on Lake Wallenpaupack since 1947. Named for its resemblance to the rolling hills and lakes of Scotland, it’s are perched on a hillside providing guests with amazing views and a pastoral setting ideal for families and nature lovers.

Cottages feature fireplaces, sun decks, porches, complete kitchens, heat, cable TV, and gorgeous views. Swim and slip docks, free rowboats, and small motorboats for rent. Open May through the end of Sept/early October. Weekly rentals only.

Loch Highland Cottages provides two docks. Bring your boat. You can also use a free rowboat, or rent a small aluminum motorboat to cruise the lake or to fish.

Moor your motorboat or sailboat to our slip dock, use our free rowboats, or rent one of our small aluminum motorboats to cruise the lake or to seek out a great fishing spot.

Hiking trails, golf courses, horseback riding, good restaurants, tennis courts, and antique shops are all nearby.

“Just got back from our first trip here and it definitely will not be our last! The cabin was so much more than we expected! We were in cabin 6 which was surrounded by trees so it wasn’t very hot! wonderful fire pit and amazing swim and fishing docks! (the kids had great luck catching fish here!) My 2, 7 and 16 year old had a blast! Very well maintained, private, and quiet! See you next year!”
