Pelkey’s Tavern

Pelkey’s Tavern is 4 miles north of Callicoon. It’s a country roadside tavern with “great food and the coldest draft beer in the Catskills.” Casual, friendly, out-of-the-way bar with locals. Pretty good food, lots of draft beers.

“We only went once to Pelkey’s The menu online looked attractive/interesting and it suggested sophistication. I’d even describe it as aspirational. In reality, the food was just fine but nothing remarkable, and descent value for the prices, which were in line with this type of restaurant.”
