East Mauch Chunk Eatery is a tiny storefront breakfast place in an old Victorian open daily from 6 am – 1 pm. Regular eggs breakfasts, omelets, pancakes, French toast, breakfast sandwiches and wraps, country-fried steak, and Eggs Benedict.

“This place has some of the most delicious breakfast available. It’s small, the women who run it are friendly and down to earth, and not only is the food amazing, but they deliver plenty of it with big portions that are affordable. I’ve been partial to the broccoli scramble, but the French toast is also really good along with their gigantic, don’t order more than one unless you plan on taking it home, pancakes. If you’re looking to get breakfast in Jim Thorpe and are clueless as where to go, your best bet is definitely this cozy little eatery.”

You get exactly what you’d expect from this no-frills joint: good food, big portions, and no-nonsense but hospitable service. Our group ordered the Danny’s Mess, SOS, and scrapple and all hit the spot.”
