The Crazy Country Club in Hawley is modeled after the 1948 original in Brooklyn, which was the first comedy club in the US. Hawley’s Crazy Country Club is run by the son of the original owner, Lou Burdo. Their website name is “Warm Beer and Lousy Food”, but they offer a unique dining experience with all fresh made to order food and a fun relaxed atmosphere.
On the menu you’ll find lots of Italian-Amereican dishes. There’s Shrimp Scampi, Chicken Marsala, Fried calamari, a rib eye steak, pan-seared salmon, and lobster tails. Pastas are penne vodka, Orecchiette Baresi, and Linguini Constantina with shrimp.
For the kids, they’ve got chicken fingers, a cheeseburger, and pasta with marinara. Food is pretty good overall.
