Be Kind Bake House

Be Kind Bake House is a sweet storefront on Main Street serving very good bread, galettes, scones, cakes, cookies, and pies. “All items are made from scratch and baked with love.” The menu varies a bit as each of these items is made daily.

Be Kind Bake House makes an array of breads, including baguettes, multi-grain bread, and rosemary olive oil burger buns.

Check daily to see what’s fresh out of the oven. There are muffins, rolls, and freshly-baked pies. Cookies include Peppermint Chocolate and Chocolate Chip, Lemon Pine Needle Shortbread, and a Roasted Garlic(!) Chocolate Chip Cookie. They’ve got gluten-free baked goods, too!

Be Kind Bake House is next door to the Honesdale Black & Brass Falls coffee shop.

The inspiration for our name, and the principle that we established our business under comes from the quote, “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
