Fieldstone Farm Nature Preserve

Fieldstone Farm Nature Preserve is a recently protected natural area and open space property that was once a small country farm with a beautiful stone farmhouse. Much of the original stone framework of the old house still remains. There’s a large barn, numerous outbuildings, a beautiful spring pond/swimming pool, and a farm pond. It’s all located on the banks of Tank Creek, adjacent to Devil’s Hole State Gamelands. This protected property is a short hike from the road, and well worth it!

Preservation of this land helps protect the waters of Tank Creek, which is a headwater stream to the Brodhead Creek and Delaware River Basin beyond. You’ll find Devil’s Hole Road just off of Rt 940 in Cresco.
