Country Club of the Poconos is an 18-hole, par 70, 6,000-yard course designed by Jim Fazio. Championship mountain-style venue over more than 40 acres of wetlands provides sanctuary for thousands of birds. Self-sustaining course operated by Middle Smithfield Township.
Measuring 6,000 yards from the back tees, the course tests even the longest hitters. Many sets of tee boxes allow players of all skill levels to have an enjoyable round.
Narrow fairways are lined by thick woods and wetlands. Greens and fairways are bentgrass.
Country Club of the Pocono has a bar offering snacks or sandwiches that can be ordered from the bar menu. Seating is available in the bar area and on the deck.
“Challenging course but doesn’t leave you feeling defeated. The course was in great shape and is very scenic. You will drive quite a distance between holes.”
You’re just a half-mile from The Historic Tom X Pub where you can grab a beer and a burger.
