Pocono Mountain Maple, aka Pocono Mountain Farms on Lake Russell is the largest organic maple farm in the state. They tap 24,000 trees a year to produce maple syrup in their sugar shack.
Pocono Mountain Maple is all about family. Come spend the day on this 450-acre farm and enjoy a variety of fruit trees and farm animals and get first-hand experience with agricultural life.
Don’t forget to grab some fresh syrup before you leave. Looking for a place to host your family reunion or bachelor/bachelorette party? Lake Russell offers a 50-acre lake to enjoy canoeing, kayaking, and swimming, along with cabins, a yurt, and a lake house that can sleep about 35-40 people.
“The lake and farm were magical! Waking up lakeside with the most spectacular sunrise was the perfect way to start the day. I stayed here with a large group of friends and we all felt so comfortable in the cute cabins on the maple farm. We went kayaking, sat around the bonfire, did some archery, trekked some beautiful hikes, and toured the maple farm and sugar shack. I can’t thank the staff enough.
