At Opera! Pike! Park! live music will once again fill the air.
Classic arias, Neapolitan songs, and Broadway tunes will be performed by singers from the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia.
The showcase, which features singers from the Academy of Vocal Arts, is set to kick off at 4 p.m. at Ann Street Park in Milford. Artists include Emily Margevich, Angel Gomez, Benjamin Dickerson, and Matthew Goodheart.
The program will include excerpts from “La Traviata,” “Don Giovanni,” “Call me Madam,” “West Side Story,” “La Bohème,” “L’Italiana in Algeri,” “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “La Fille du Régiment,” and “The Merry Widow,” among others.
Opera! Pike! Park! is family friendly and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, snacks and beverages. Opera! Pike! Park! Is free for anyone to attend, however reservations via Eventbrite are required to receive a program. There also are a limited number of seats in folding chairs under the tent.
